Game: Halo 3
Format: 2v2
Halo 3 has featured prominently in the Philly Gamers’ schedule, and will continue to be our flagship game through the summer of ‘08. The PHL currently promotes 2v2 events. Our game-type and maps are available (link) here.
Game: Call of Duty 4
Format: FFA
Call of Duty 4 is new to the PHL schedule, but has quickly become one of the most popular games on the Xbox 360 platform. Due to Call of Duty’s unique class & level-up system, until further notice the PHL will run FFA games in Old School Hardcore game-types.
Rhythm and Music Division
Game: Guitar Hero
Format: 1v1 pro Face-Off
Guitar Hero will make it’s comeback to Philly Gamers in the Summer of ‘08 featuring a more traditional format and using exclusively the Xbox 360 platform.
Fighters Division
Games: Multiple
Format 1v1 & 2v2
Philly Gamers will be jumping into the 2D & 3D fighters genre in the 2008 Summer season playing games on multiple platforms including PS2, Xbox 360, Wii and possibly even heritage platforms like the Dreamcast.
